Calling Back Showroom Traffic CDR: Public Relations Call CDR: Hello, is this _____ , I hope I'm not interrupting anything important? Cust.: Who's this? CDR: This is _______ from (your dealership), I work in the Public Relation department, and the purpose of my call is to thank you for taking the time to visit our showroom. We know most people just really don't enjoy the whole car shopping experience and we try to contact people who visited the dealership and see what we can do to improve their experience, can you take a moment and share with me how your visit went, but 1st, has anyone other than myself contacted you since your visit? (Yes sounds like in you're in good hands, leave your name and number) CDR: Share with me how your experience was???. What was it that brought you into the dealership, I mean was it a newspaper ad, did you hear us on radio, see us on TV, and what was it that brought you in? Was this your 1st visit to (your dealership)? Did our salesperson answer all your questions professionally? Did we have a vehicle that matched all of your needs? If YES - did you get a chance to drive that vehicle? If you had to pick one thing that prevented you from buying that vehicle, what would that one thing be? Cust: Price, Trade, We're going to wait. CDR: Let me do this for you, I would like to arrange for you to meet directly with my manager so that we can save you some time. What would work better for you, this afternoon or this evening? (Go for specific time). Do you have a pen or pencil handy? The manager I am going to have you meet with is __________ and you spell it _________. So we are set for_______ on __________. Thank you for your time. Price: So if I understand you correctly, what you are saying is that if we can find a way to make this vehicle more affordable for you, you'll come back in, take another look at it with the intent of driving it home. GO FOR APPT: Trade value: You know something...I'm not sure who looked at your vehicle when you were in. It could have just been one of my managers. We usually try to get all of our managers to evaluate trade-ins. Also, we have independents that come into our dealership from time to time. Independents are individual buyers who sell used cars exclusively, and select a majority of their inventories from dealerships like ours. They may be able to offer you more. GO FOR APPT: We've decided to wait: Before I let you go, may I ask you one more question? Keeping in mind your car will never be worth more in trade than it is right now, and any money you do spend on repairs on your current car will be like throwing that money away, and finally, the prices on all new cars are continually going to go up, if I could find a way to save you additional money by purchasing today as opposed to waiting, is there a possibility we could do business now? GO FOR APPT: IF No is answer?leave on CDR The main purpose for my call is to thank you for your visit. If there is anything we can do, please feel free to call. Otherwise I will be in touch from time to time. Thanks again for your time.
